Do I have to pay Illinois state income tax on retirement income that I received while living in Texas?

No.  Your state of residence when you receive the retirement income governs where that income gets taxed, (or not taxed.)  I don't think Illinois taxes retirement income.

No.  Your state of residence when you receive the retirement income governs where that income gets taxed, (or not taxed.)  I don't think Illinois taxes retirement income.

That is correct. IL does not tax retirement income.
