Do I add a 401K pension if it was taken out of my paycheck?

I work for the state of Texas. I get 9.5 taken out of my check every month for my pension plan. This is not an optional investment, but I believe it is invested into a 401K. Do I need to be adding this to my taxes or not?

All you have to do is to enter all of the information from your W-2. You do not enter the 401k contributions separately.

If I claimed zero on my W-4 by accidentally did when I get a decent paycheck cuz I'm planning on changing it and putting down to dependents or the head of household
