@anthonydewhirst2 @SForrestLO  just got off the phone with Ashley in TT support.... states engineers are actively working on this issue and there is NO time frame of when this will be completed.  She advised me to file my taxes and then amend them later.  I advised her I will NOT go through all that complicated mess just because TT software is having an issue.

This is absolutely absurd a company at big as TT cannot get their program in order to file taxes.   Been dealing with this issue for 2 weeks now.

I am getting this error message when trying to file. Can I file just my federal, and then do state when these forms are ready? Please help.

Thank you! If I could just file my federal for now. And just file state later I would be okay. But I can't figure out how to do that. I have new dependents and will be missing out on the new stimulus relief because Ive been waiting weeks for turbo tax to fix their software.

When you efile, you can mark the state that you will file by mail.  Then you can file just the federal and go back and change the state filing to efile when it is ready to file.

I'm concerned about that actually working since it's saying very clearly I wont be able to eFile if I select that option for the State. That's the main reason I've been holding off since I dont want to lose my State and have to do it by hand or some nonsense...

@enve123  You can Efile your Federal return now, and Efile your State return later, after your state forms are updated.

Some states are still updating forms to comply with the Federal CARES Act concerning pension income.

TurboTax will incorporate these changes as soon as possible.
