Can you enter SSA 1099 online? System does not fetch 2024 data nor allow entry of new SSA 1099 form.

I selected 'Retirement Plans and Social Security' then 'Social Security (SSA - 1099). System presents 'Revist' button which when pressed starts loop.

To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button

And you have to enter Social Security manually.   You can’t download or import it.

If none of the above work, some folks have found that they have to go in and delete the Social Security Benefits Worksheet....THEN go back to the interview and it will work.  But that's kind-of a last resort.
