Can't add SSA-1099s, skips right from regular 1099s to Canadian pensions

I cannot add my husband's and my SSA-1099s, using TurboTax Premier Desktop version in Windows.  We both had them last tax year.  The program skips over them (using STEP BY STEP) from regular 1099s to Canadian pensions.  No place to add the 1099s.  When I click UPDATE on the place to add your Social Security benefits, the screen flashes a few times and nothing happens, right back to the same screen.  I have tried closing and restarting the program.  I've tried running it as an Administrator and the problem persists.  I've gone to Forms and tried to add a SSA-1099 with no success.

Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

Thank you but that does not work.  As I stated in my question - the opportunity to enter the SSA-1099R does not appear in either the "Walk me through everything" or "I'll choose what I work for." options.  It completely skips from 1099Rs to the Canadian Pension section.

If TurboTax is skipping the SSA-1099R entry and going directly from 1099-R to Canadian Pension, try accessing Social Security benefits manually:

1. Go to Federal Taxes > Wages & Income.
2. Scroll down to the Retirement Plans and Social Security section.
3. Select Start or Update next to Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
4. When asked, confirm you received Social Security benefits and enter the amounts from your SSA-1099R form.

If the option still doesn't appear, try using the search box to type "Social Security benefits" to jump directly to that section.

Neither of these worked but thank you.  I ended up finding the Social Security Worksheet form and manually entering our information there.  That worked (finally).  I think it is a software bug.  Very frustrating for such a simple thing.
