Can I plug my 2020 income and tax withholdings into turbo tax to see if I will owe money at the end of the year?

Might be difficult..

1)  DO NOT Touch your real tax return account if you use the Online software for 2019....you would irreversibly destroy your 2019 tax file and all it's data.

2) If you could start and entirely new Online account (new username and password).....you could, but Only IF TTTX allows a new 2019 tax file to be created now....I think they may have shut down "Online" for starting a new file..

or

3)  Buy and Use the Desktop software EVERY YEAR instead....Desktop software allows you to create as many new test files as often as you want (using that year's data & rates though ), and/or it also has a What-If worksheet, that uses current year data, but allows you to adjust amounts to predict the next year.  (don't know if it has any accounting for the stimulus payments yet though).
