Can you clarify if you get this summary screen?
I have the same problem—I can see that page but it's not possible to add a second 1099-SA right now because the "Add" button there just overwrites your first one.
I can see it
I have the problem that the user asked about too. I enter my 1099-sa info, get to the screen you show, and click the button the add another 1099-sa, and the software just proceeds and overwrites my initial entry.
This is definitely a TurboTax bug; someone from Intuit helped me out in a different thread. I had to dig into the TurboTax bowels and delete my 1099-SA data and start over, and then the New button started working.
Yes! I have run into the same issue. When I use safari as my browser, it just overwrites the first entry. When I use google chrome, I get the below error when I click the "Add" button:
I had this same issue where it kept overwriting. I then decided to delete it and re-enter it. Then I started to get the hit a snag message. I spent 2 hours with someone in chat with no help! Eventually I found another thread to figure out a resolution on my own. Instead of deleting it from this screen, you have to go to tools and then forms. Then look for the 1099-SA and delete it. Then you will have to re-enter it, but it allowed me to add a second one after that.
Yes! I found the same thread. I deleted it using tools and deleted the form the way you described and it worked. I was then able to enter two 1099-SAs
Try deleting the 1099-SA Form following these steps:
Then go back and enter your forms again. To get to the part where you report your HSA contributions and distributions:
If TurboTax is not letting you continue, you can try the following:
Go out of your program and go back in.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try a different Web Browser.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure all updates have been run on your program. You can do this by clicking on "Online" in the black bar across the top of your TurboTax screen. And then select "Check for Updates".
If you have any additional questions or information regarding this please return to TurboTax Community and we would be glad to help.
