I am a US citizen with a 401k.  One of the 401k holdings is in a Canada company that pays dividends.  The 401k admin. withholds Canada taxes on a portion of the dividend.

Yes, you can. First enter all of your income. Then take these steps:

• Deductions & Credits
• Estimates & Other Taxes Paid
• Foreign Taxes
• If you are not going to itemize, take the credit
