Can I get a copy of the 2018 working file that created my return? We have been informed that a 1099R was not entered /claimed by IRS.?

My personal records show that the 1099R was entered, however we do not see it in the total figure on line 4b of the 1040. It was not  brought fwd into return.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

the fact that the amount is not included in 4b should be sufficient to inform you that the IRS is correct.

If they just added that to your AGI, and calculated the extra tax, just pay up and be done with it.

If an IRA and you had a basis, never mind, you'd need to file Form 8606.
