Can I exclude a portion of my military retirement income for the state of Kentucky? Fort Knox VITA site is using Taxslayer and it is.

From what I understand up to 41,000 may be excluded from the Kentuky State tax calucations.

You are correct. The exact number is 41,110 (why KY picked that number I'll never know), but it is excluded from KY income.
