Can I correct the front of my 1040 line 1. It has an amount of money I did not receive a w2. It is a mistake, it should be a 1099 pension entry.

Did you enter your 1099R in the wrong place or is box 7 a Code 3?  Code 3 for disability retirement can show up as wages and qualify you for credits.

Does your Form 1099-R have a code 3 in box 7?  If so, and you are under your employer's minimum retirement age the distribution is entered as wages on the Form 1040.
