Can I claim the vehicle interest credit if my 401K rollover distribution to a traditional IRA puts me over the income limit for claiming the credit?

TurboTax will not allow me to enter the vehicle interest tax credit because it says my income is too high. But that's only because I rolled over an old 401K from a previous employer to a traditional IRA. I rolled over the entire amount, and none of that is taxable.

If you entered the From 1099-R correctly, the rollover of the entire gross amount to the traditional IRA has no effect on the rest of your tax return, no effect on any deduction or tax credit.  Edit the Form 1099-R and confirm that you have reported the rollover such that the amount is not included on Form 1040 line 5b.
