It depends.  If the payments show in box 1 of the form W-2 (Gross income), then you can deduct the payments, since you paid tax on it... If the payments are not included there, then they are considered to have been paid with pre-tax dollars; deducting them as medical expenses would be double dipping and that's not allowed.

It depends.  If the payments show in box 1 of the form W-2 (Gross income), then you can deduct the payments, since you paid tax on it... If the payments are not included there, then they are considered to have been paid with pre-tax dollars; deducting them as medical expenses would be double dipping and that's not allowed.
