No.  Gifts given and gifts received are not reported on a tax return.

 

If the gift given to a single individual is $18,000 or more then you would have to report the gift on IRS Form 709.

Roth IRAs are, by definition, funded with after-tax dollars. This means no one—not even the person who owns the account—gets a tax deduction for contributing to one.
