Check box 12 again. The code 'II' is listed just after code 'HH' in box TurboTax Online and TurboTax desktop versions.
Thanks. I confirmed "II" was not listed after "HH" in the initial drop down set. To solve the issue, I was able to bypass the first screen by responding with a blank 12a. The next screen prompts for 12a to be filled in. For some reason that drop down is more inclusive and "II" is included. It seems the user interface needs updating so both drop downs match! Thanks again.
