Box 12 D followed by "20", then the contribution amount. What does the "20" stand for?

One of my W-2's has in Box 12 a D code followed by "20", then the contribution amount. I know how to input the D code, and what it stands for, but what does the "20" next to the D stand for? Do I need to worry about it?

The "20" probably stands for tax year 2020.  Ignore the 20 and enter the actual amount in box 12.

Good call! I checked out my previous years' W-2s from the same company, and they show "19", "18", etc, after the D.
