Are voluntary contributions from my Virginia return tax deductible?

I had voluntary contributions deducted from my 2016 Virginia Tax return.  Are those tax deductible as charitable contributions for my 2017 federal return?  I gave to the Transportation Services for the Elderly and Disabled Fund, the Spay & Neuter Fund, and to a state political party.  Are any of those funds consider charities for the 2017 tax filing?

Political parties are not. The other two would be....BUT, if you transferred your 2016 tax file into your 2017 file, those donation check-offs usually auto-transfer into the 2017 tax return too as charities.

Thank you SteamTrain...I did find that the auto-transfer did occur by looking through the Forms section for Charitable Donations.
