Are there any changes coming soon to turbo tax to lower the underpayment penalty exception rate from 85% to 80% as recently communicated by the IRS?

Not sure....TTX usually updates their software on Wednesdays or Thursdays....usually by sometime Thursday afternoon. Check again 5 or 6PM Thursday

The changes to Form 2210, Underpayment of Estimated Tax by Individuals, Estates and Trusts, are scheduled to be updated in a release currently planned for March 29, 2019.

Turbo Tax is calculating an estimated tax underpayment penalty. However, one of the IRS exceptions applies to me. How do I override the penalty entered by Turbo Tax?
