Yes, the monthly payments from a pension plan are an RMD. All of it is an RMD.

if your asking how much of the RMD is taxable that depends on a lot of things.     for example an IRA RMD in which you have basis will be partially non-taxable. An employer RMD , including those from state retirement plans, for which you had after tax contributions will also be partially non-taxable
