Anybody else in a loop on the "2016 Hurricane Distrubtion". I didn't get a distribution nor did I claim a distribution but can't get out.

If you are speaking about Form 8915-A, "Qualified 2016 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments", you can simply remove the form from the program.  In TurboTax online, here are the steps:

• Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off
• To your left, Select Tax Tools/drop-down menu
• Select Tools
• Under Other helpful links, choose to Delete a form
• Select Delete next to Form 8915-A and Continue with My Return to proceed

I have the same problem.  An obvious bug in the software.  I was entering 1099-R info, was asked if I received 2016 hurricane distributions, answered no, and now I'm stuck in the loop.  Fix this TurboTax!

Great answer! Worked like a charm.  This is definitely a systemic bug and should have been addressed by their developers.  I got a generic response to my query that indicated that neither the problem understood nor would any action be taken by the developers.

I'm in the same loop!

Based on the date of some of the responses, this isn't a new problem.  I am using the down-loaded product and after over 10 years of TurboTax, I may need to try H&R Block's software.
