Sure, as long as you do NOT e-file the tax return you can come back at any time to add more tax information.

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

You can complete your tax return in several sessions and only file after you have entered everything and reviewed the return.

When using TurboTax Online, your work is automatically saved on TurboTax servers as you work. The next time you sign in, you will find your return as you left it.

For TurboTax Desktop, you need to save your return after each session by clicking File on the top of your screen then Save.
