1099-R has an amount in Box 14 (State Tax W/H) and no amount in Box 16 (State Tax Dist). TurboTax say that Box 16 should not be less than Box 14 and won't budge.

Schwab say it's right, but TT won't allow me to file with the "error". Is there a workaround

1099-R has an amount in Box 14 (State Tax W/H) and no amount in Box 16 (State Tax Dist). TurboTax say that Box 16 should not be less than Box 14 and won't budge.

If you have withholding in box 14 then enter the amount from box 2a into box 16 for the state distribution. If box 2a is blank use the amount from box 1.
