Question

Why is my non-taxable 1099-R being counted as income? I have a 0 in the box 2a, I rolled over the $ into an IRA.

I rolled my 401k $ into an IRA within 60 days, so it shouldn’t be counted as taxable income - but the only questions TTax asked was about a Roth IRA and now it’s showing as income

Does it actually show a zero in Box 2a, or is that box blank?  What is the distribution code in Box 7?

If you were looking at the summary screen in the program it shows all distributions whether their taxable or not on that screen. Please review the form 1040 where it will show total distributions and the taxable portion. That's the only place you should be looking for that information.
