Go back to the IRA Contribution section of your return and be sure that you indicate that the Traditional IRA contribution is not deductible or that you are choosing to make it non-deductible.  If your income is in the range to allow a deduction, it is easy to miss that question.

Also, take a look at the following TurboTax help article for step-by-step instructions for entering the back door Roth conversion:

Yep, I did that and my Schedule 1 line 20 is not blank, it's the full amount of the contribution and taxable amount on my 1040 is not zero.

To follow-up on the comments from @AnnetteB6, after entering your 1099-R information did you see the page "Here's your 1099-R info," or similar page?  If so, you need to continue through the remainder of this section because the following pages will inquire about non-deductible contributions deposited into your traditional IRA as well as your basis in the traditional IRA.

Additionally, did you see the page "Any Non-deductible contributions to your IRA."  If you did, and you select "no," you will likely need to enter the value of your traditional IRA as of the last day of the year.  That value should be zero because you probably have already transferred the IRA balance to the Roth IRA.

Follow-up with additional information as appropriate, including the distribution code (box 7) on your 1099-R.
