Question

When will the Retirement Plans and Social Security become available to enter info? I can never remember Turbo Tax having this kind of delay.

@jim327w

If you are using the "Online" software....Go back and log in directly to your tax account and try again in the Retirement Income section...it's been active for 1.5 days now

If you are using the "Desktop" software.  Start up the software, an run the Updates....it was all fixed by yesterday morning and is in the latest software update

@McK51 Using the desktop editions, click on Forms

When in Forms mode, locate the Social Security Benefits Worksheet (Social Sec) on the left side of the screen.

Click on Social Sec to open.  When the Worksheet opened scroll down the page and click on Delete Form

Click on Step-by-Step to return to the interview and enter your SSA-1099

To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button
