turbo tax is not separating my wifes and my retirement resulting in an error

we gave two W-2 entered (my wife and I) we both qualify for max retirement savings (31,000) but turbo tax thinks I am overpaying by 31,000. it cannot separate the two W-2 s at the end of the process

On TurboTax's W-2 form, make sure that you have marked the correct box to indicate the recipient of the W-2. (TurboTax assigns the W-2 to Taxpayer or Spouse depending on the marking of the box, not the name on the form.)
