Solved

The Traditional IRA contribution dialog boxes don't give me the option to declare a non-deductible contribution. It does say I can't deduct, but how do I confirm?

if it says you can't deduct it will be assumed to be entirely non-deductible

confirm by reviewing your Form 8606 - the contribution should be on Line 1 (on Desktop check in Forms mode, on Online check in the PDF with your forms after paying for the service but before filing you can still edit)

if you did a backdoor Roth conversion also confirm the tax outcome on 1040 Line 4b.
