Question

My Pension and Annuity Income Exclusion ($20,000) will not come over to my State Taxes and I am not sure what I did wrong? Any ideas?

Make sure that after you enter in the 1099-R, that you double-check that you have not selected your state in the screen asking about which state your annuity is from. This is a necessary entry for a number of states to get the proper treatment on the state return to exempt income.
