In my Federal Review, the Turbo Tax program is referencing Form 1099-SA (Money out). I have selected and input information from Form 5498-SA (money in) How do I correct?

delete form 1099SA and start over with Form 5498SA?

Try going back through the Health Savings Account (HSA) section in your return and verify the entries that you made.

As you go through this section, you will be able to see and HSA contributions reported on your W-2 in box 12 with code W. There will also be a box to enter separate contributions that you made outside of payroll contributions on that same screen.

There will also be a question about having received any distributions from your HSA shown on Form 1099-SA. If this was previously entered in error, go through this section again by saying 'yes' you did receive a distribution. This will show you a summary of Form 1099-SA already entered and then you can delete that entry from the summary page.

Go to Deductions and Credits > Medical > 1099-SA, HSA, MSA to review your information.
