Your social security benefits are entered in Turbo Tax as follows:
The SSA 1099 will also be entered in the Retirement Plans and Social Security section
• Select Federal Taxes
• Select Wages and Income
• Select Show More at Retirement Plans and Social Security
• Select Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)
The information from your E-Trade account is entered in the Investment section of Turbo Tax.
Enter Form 1099-B:
• Select Federal Taxes
• Select Wages and Income
• Select Show More at Investment Income
• Select Start at Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds and Other
