If line 9a keeps stating that I need to put a minimum value of 0.01 in the box, but I don't receive distributions from the pension, how do I fix it?

I have a City government Retired pension that does not take out total distrbutions out. Yet line 9a keeps saying " minimum value is 0.01. Is this a glitch ? I have been doing this for more than 5 years and Never once had this happen.

I assume you are talking about a Form 1099-R. Are you trying to enter zero in box 9a? If it's zero or blank on the 1099-R that you received, just leave the box empty in TurboTax. Don't enter anything. You don't have to make an entry in every box.

Rjs, Thank you for responding.

I am talking about how the turbo tax form while try to do my taxes won't let continue until I put a value of 0.01 or more on that line when I don't have a value. I can't continue until I put a more than 0 in.
