Question

If it says to enter box 14 and box 16 for state info, but my 1099r doesn't have a box 16? I used the same amount in both box14 and16 but it rejects it. Workaround?

example: state tax withheld should not be greater than or equal to the state distribution amount.

Box 16 is for State Distribution.  If you have withholding in box 14 then enter the amount from box 1 into box 16 for the state distribution.
