I recieved my 1099-r from lacers. They have listed ca id number in the state box with a 0.00 amount. I live in Utah and have for the last 5 yrs. This is the first year collecting my pension. How does that work when I file my taxes

Pension income is always considered as coming from the state where you live when you receive it, regardless of where the payer is located. I would just ignore the state entries on the 1099-R. When you enter your 1099-R in TurboTax, don't enter any state information.
