Question

I downloaded forms from Fidelity. Turbo Tax combined 11 b (IRA distributions) and 12b Pensions all in line 11b. How do I correct this.

No, pension distributions must not be combined on the same line as IRA distributions. Review your Form 1099-R entries to be sure that you did not mistakenly mark the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box on TurboTax's 1099-R form when it is not marked on the corresponding Form 1099-R provided by the payer. Only Forms 1099-R for distributions from traditional IRA accounts (including SEP and SIMPLE IRA accounts) have the IRA/SEP/SIMPLE box marked.
