I did not receive a 1099-IT form but my school was paid for by grants. Do I enter all of the grant money that was awarded or just the amnt that was used to pay the bill?

You should enter all the money that was awarded and then all your education expenses, when going through the education credits.  Since you have to form 1098-T (I'm assuming your school is not required to issue one), you may want to look at other school statements to make sure that the numbers are correct.
