Hi, Can I insert a new 1099 INT (for example) between two prior year 1099-INTs that pulled forward from last year? Or must I add the new 1099-INT at the end of list pulled forward from previous year?

Here's how to alphabetize your list of 1099-INTs:

  • After entering the 3rd 1099-INT in the usual fashion, switch to Forms Mode.
  • In the left column list of forms choose to display the Schedule B.
  • On the Schedule B the first Smart Worksheet should show the 3 form 1099-INTs.
  • Click on one of them merely to highlight it.  The field will turn blue.
  • Then go the top menubar and click on EDIT.
  • In the dropdown menu choose SORT TABLE.
  • That should put them in alphabetical order.

Why do you want to insert it?   So it will be alphabetical?   You can enter it last, and we can tell you how to sort the list in Forms Mode.

Or you can delete the last one in the list, add the new one, then manually put the last one back.

Yes, sorting after inputting all 1099-INTs would be fine.
