Federal plus two states. One state not shown in the review process.

Have filed Federal plus two states with TT for several years. Montana residency and Colorado income. This year when I reached the review process it does NOT show the final numbers and filing information for Colorado. Why would that be?

Have you prepared both tax returns? In TurboTax Online, are you able to go to State Taxes / Prepare State / Your State Returns?

At the screen Status of your state returns, do you see both the Montana and Colorado tax returns that have been generated? If not, click Add another state to add the Colorado tax return.

In My Info, what State of Residence (on December 31, 2022) have you indicated in the software?

What entry have you made at I lived in another state? Please clarify.

1. I have purchased the second state and prepared both states as I always have done for several years in TT.

2. State of residence is Montana, as it has consistently been, also for several years of TT

3. I do not recall being asked if I lived in another state, but would have said no.

4. In Review process, Your State Returns screen, both states are shown.

5. Tax Summary for 2022 screen ONLY shows Federal and Montana, no Colorado.

6. I opened a previous year of TT and on the Tax Summary screen both states are shown.

I have not filed yet, but can't help but wonder if TT proceed to file Colorado??

Go through the Colorado review process for Colorado again. There may have been something in the input that you may have inadvertently omitted or misentered that caused the Colorado return not to populate. Sounds like you may have forgotton to input your Colorado income. Was this coming off your W2? Check your W2 entry again to make sure that you indicated that you had state income from Colorado
