Yes, Ohio provides a deduction for Social Security survivor benefits if they are included in your federal adjusted gross income. Ohio does not tax Social Security benefits, and you can claim a deduction on the Ohio Schedule of Adjustments for these payments, provided they are based on the death of the worker. It should happen automatically when they are entered.
