This return cannot be electronically filed due to a processing error related to the Other Income items listed on 1040 Schedule 1, line 8. This issue will be resolved, but there is currently no estimated date for when the update will be available. You have two options: 1) You may wait a few weeks and attempt to resubmit this return, or 2) You may print and file the return by mail. This message will be updated when a resolution date is identified.

Yeah, this is a known error on the IRS side of the equation. They are trying to get it fixed and hope to have it done soon. I would wait and attempt to file again after February 6th.

Is this the error code that you are getting FW2-001-01 The sum of all Form W-2s, 'WagesAmt' must not be greater than the sum of 'WagesSalariesAndTipsAmt' in the return and sum of all Schedule C Form 1040 . Try this resolution then;

Go to Form Schedule C.
- On Line 1 - If this income was reported to you on Form W2 and the Statutory employee" box was checked, check here. Mark the checkbox.
- Also check this link My return was rejected with reason code FW2-001-02 (intuit.com) At the present, I am not aware of any error known to the IRS regarding this issue.
