I thought because I went threw Turbo Tax I would get my money in the form of a check.Mailed to my house.If I did direct deposit and did my taxes myself it would be direct deposited into my account.Im confused as well.I did direct deposit with Turbo Tax.We will see ...

I'm basically homeless ( went through divorce & now staying with friends the last 1 year ) and haven't done tax return in 3 years, cause of income, so would I be able to call and give my ABA/Routing # and Account # for IRS to link to me so they can direct deposit ? I don't have address they can send check too either..

My understanding is that you HAVE to have filed taxes in order to receive the stimulus.  Otherwise they cant verify how much money you make or how many kids you have.  People can SAY anything.  That's why they use the irs info to issue the money. 

Go file your taxes.

What if you went through hr block and got the emerald card. Not married but claimed my fiance bc she was pregnant and claimed my 17 year old as a dependent ? How much then.
