Double-check
your entries in the Personal
Info Tab. Even though
you were stationed in Mississippi, answer “no” to the question “Did
you live in another state besides [home state]” and “no” to the question “Did
you earn money in another state besides [home state]?” Active-duty military are only
considered residents of their state of record, not the state of
deployment. If filled out correctly, it should eliminate your tax due to
Mississippi.
