If the active duty military member registers to vote in a state other than his or her military state of residence, does it change his state of residence?
Active military claiming residence in Utah but registered to vote in Florida. Does it change his residency to Florida? Should he continue to be registered to vote in Florida or use an absentee ballot for Utah?

This is a voting rights question that TurboTax's tax professionals are not able to answer for you.
State laws pertaining to voting rights are not necessarily consistent with state residency rules for tax purposes as they apply to military members.
