I was paid for most of the year in the military with my home of record in Texas, moved in November to Missouri. Do I need to pay the Missouri taxes?

I did not earn money in Missouri and changed my home of record after getting out of the military in November. Now I have to pay $1847 to MO. Is there a way that I wouldn't need to?

No.  If you did not earn any money at all while a resident of MO, then you would not need to file a tax return for MO.  All of your income would technically be taxable to TX, but since TX does not have a state tax, you would not need to file a state return for 2025.

Since you do not have any income earned while a resident of MO or MO sourced income, you can just delete the MO state return.
