I'm active duty military, and my residency is in Connecticut. However, I need to file a NON-resident tax return. How do I do this?

If you live in CT, you will file a CT tax return and mark non-resident.  Return to the personal information section. It will have your name, birth date, social, occupation and state of residence - your HOR. Then it asks if you lived in another state, select no (despite living in CT). Select yes to US Armed Forces. Thank you for your service.

Or explain further what state your HOR is, and what state you are now posted....and what type of income you had the requires an NR.  It isn't exactly clear from what you posted.
