I am in the air force reserve and was deployed for 6 months this year. I am technically considered active duty while I was deployed. How do I show this on my taxes?

 You can indicate that you are active duty in the Personal Info section.  When you enter your name, birth date, etc. there is a question at the bottom of the page asking about military service.  Please select YES. 

If you have already entered your name, click on EDIT to open this screen and look for the military question at the bottom of the screen.
