What should I do if I didn’t take depreciation on my rental property for 2024 taxes ?TurboTax online premium failed to calculate depreciation for my rental property.

I've already filed my 2024 taxes which shows no depreciation taken on Line 18 of Schedule E. How do I fix this error ?

    Are you 100% certain you were entitled to a depreciation deduction for 2024? 

     

    If this is a vacation property with personal use, you may not be so entitled.

     

    If, in fact, you are entitled to a depreciation deduction for 2024 (only), you can file an amended 2024 return.
