Question

Turbotax does not appear to be completing form 8960 for net investment interest tax. How can I confirm this?

If you have income from investments and your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) exceeds $200,000 for individuals, $250,000 for spouses filing jointly, and $125,000 for spouses filing separately, we'll include Form 8960 with your return. To check if the form is included in your return:

Log in to your account.
Select Tools then Tax Tools from the left side.
Select Delete a form.
Scroll down to check if form 8960 is included.

Thanks for the reply. The list does show a form 8960 and worksheet, so I guess it is computing whether I need to pay the NIIT.
