Question

The steps for entering a sale of rental property under Sale of Proper/Depreciation is not working for me. HELP!!!!

If you want help, you need to tell us HOW it is not working for you.  What exactly is wrong?  Without more information, we can't help you unless we randomly guess at what is your problem is.

I checked the box for sale of asset. However,  never presented the options to input the 1099S info, cost basis, etc.

Just to make sure, you are "editing" the asset, then checking the box it was sold (while *IN* the asset section), right?

When you go the the "Special Handling" screen, are you saying "yes" or are you saying "no"?
