Sale of Rental Home and depreciating improvements

We sold our rental property in 2018. I had been depreciating a new roof, a furnace and carpet.  Do I have to break down the sale to clear out those items and the difference goes to the home?  ie., roof ent'd 4/26/12, cost $5252, prior deprec $1090, dif of $4162. Would I show this item to be sold for the $4162 and the difference then goes to the actual home (after doing the same for the new carpet, and furnace)?  Or do I show the proceeds and closing all on the home, and just show the depreciable assets as sold on that date, but for $0 amount?

You have several assets to sell off ... you need to prorate the sales price and the cost of sale for each item.

You will sell off each item individually ... follow the interview carefully in the asset section.
