Question

it is asking me to put in sales under 1099B but doesn't give us the chance for to enter CD's. Only stock, mutual fund, Bond, options

asking 1099B for other investments but not listing CD sales and buys, categories are stocks, bonds, mutual funds. It's none of those, just a cd

If sold CDs you enter them the same way, in the same section that you enter stocks, bond, mutual funds, etc.  The program doesn't give a a complete list.  Perhaps it should say "and other investments", but it doesn't.  You enter most all investments sales in that section, whether on a 1099-B or not.
